Installing ABS in Kerala road conditiond is waste of money. It will escalate the cost of vehicle substantially because as of now, no Indan company is manufacturing ABS system for heavy vehicles in India hence has to be imported. Leyland and Tata buses cannot go beyond 80kmph and the air brakes they use are adequate. As of power steering, yes all buses are now fitted with power steering as standard equipment. Seat belt is mandatory for driver and front passengers. But understand this is India. Here who cares?
