hi... this might be because of the distances involved. since bangalore- trivandrum distance and time taken (14-15 hrs) is more than other distances, KSRTC might have thought that it may as well let ppl travelling for the greatest distances to travel in comfort first. (any 15 hour bus journey is more hellish than a 8 hour journey.) as more volvos are being brought in, KSRTC may (and has to) provide the service to other places also.
